Overview

Fleet Maintenance Programs

Most fleets handle body and paint reactively — a unit gets hit, it goes in, it comes back. That works until three units are damaged in the same month and there is no capacity anywhere in the city.

A managed program moves that work onto a schedule. We assess the fleet, agree a priority order, and cycle units through in a rhythm that fits your operation instead of fighting it.

What this service covers

  • Fleet condition survey and prioritised action plan
  • Scheduled repair and refinish cycles by unit
  • Documented fleet colour and livery standards
  • New-unit branding and pre-service preparation
  • Priority scheduling for collision damage
  • Consolidated invoicing and per-unit cost records
  • Single point of contact for the whole account
  • Annual review of fleet condition and spend

How a program is set up

Key points

  • We survey the fleet — on site where that is easier — and grade each unit's body and appearance condition
  • We agree a priority order and a realistic number of units in the shop at any one time
  • We record your colour standard, livery layout and marking requirements
  • We schedule cycles around your seasonal peaks rather than ours
  • You get one contact, one invoice format and per-unit cost history

What it actually saves

Scheduled work is cheaper than emergency work for the same reason planned maintenance is: the parts are ordered ahead, the bay is booked, and nobody is paying for urgency. It also removes the worst case — several units damaged at once with no capacity available.

The second saving is in resale and in inspection. A fleet with sound coatings and correct markings holds value better and gives roadside inspectors less to look at.

How a fleet maintenance programs job runs

Same four stages every time, so you always know which one your vehicle is in and what happens next.

01

Assess

We document the damage and look past what is visible, so the scope is right before anything is ordered.

02

Quote

An itemised written estimate — parts, labour and timeline separated — in the format your insurer works in.

03

Repair

Parts ordered on authorisation, work carried out to the manufacturer's published procedure for your vehicle.

04

Return

Quality inspection, clean-up and hand-back with your repair file and warranty documentation.

Heavy Truck & Fleet FAQ

Questions about fleet maintenance programs

If yours is not here, call the shop — somebody who works on the vehicles will answer it.

Is there a minimum fleet size?

No. If you run several units and the body and appearance side is currently reactive, a program is worth a conversation. Small fleets often benefit most because they have the least slack.

Do we have to commit to a contract?

No long lock-in. We will put the scope, the schedule and the rates in writing so both sides know what is agreed, and the arrangement continues because it works.

Can you come to our yard?

For surveys, yes — it is usually the fastest way to grade a fleet. Some minor work can be done on site as well; we will be straight with you about what is better done in the shop.
