The Co-operators Claims
A commercial claim has more people in it than a personal one, and the number that matters to the business is rarely the one on the invoice.

The Co-operators
Commercial and fleet claims
When a commercial unit is damaged, the claim involves more than a driver and an adjuster. There may be a carrier, a leasing company, a customer whose freight was on board, and internal approval processes on the operator's side that have nothing to do with the insurer at all.
Every one of those is a place the process can stall, which is why commercial claims live or die on documentation. We photograph and document thoroughly from the first assessment precisely because the file will be read by more people than a passenger claim ever is.
Have this ready
- Unit number, VIN and the operating authority the unit runs under
- Policy and claim number, plus any internal work order reference
- Whether the unit is owned, leased or financed, and by whom
- Driver statement and any police or roadside inspection reference
- Your fleet colour standard and livery layout if we do not already hold it
The detail
Commercial and fleet claims
More parties, more documentation
Assessment, photographs and written scope prepared so the file stands up to review by everyone who will read it.
Downtime is the real cost
We quote the return-to-service date alongside the money, and flag long-lead parts on day one because those are what move it.
Insurer or internal PO
We work equally well against an insurer's authorisation or a self-insured fleet's own purchase order process.
Consolidated handling
Where several units are involved, we handle the group as one file rather than sending you a stack of separate jobs.
What we do on your claim
You should not be managing your own claim while also getting to work without a car.
Document
Photographs and a written scope of every damaged area before anything is touched.
Submit
An itemised estimate in the format adjusters work in, followed up rather than left in a queue.
Supplement
Hidden damage photographed and submitted the same day it is exposed, then chased to approval.
Hand back
Quality inspection, your full repair file, and a warranty you can hold us to.
We are self-insured. Can you still work with us?
Yes. We can work against your internal purchase order process instead of an insurer's authorisation, and we document to the same standard either way.
Can you handle several units from one incident?
Yes, as one file with one point of contact. Tell us how many units you can have off the road at once and we will stage the work around that.
How quickly can we get a number?
In most cases a written quote within one business day of the unit arriving, with long-lead parts identified immediately.
SAK Auto Group is an independent repair facility. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting as an agent of this insurer, and the names used here are for identification only. Your coverage is governed entirely by your own policy wording — confirm the specifics with your broker or adjuster.
