Terms of Service
Terms governing use of the SAK Auto Group website, estimates, repair authorisation, payment, storage and warranty.
Last updated: September 2026.
1. Acceptance
By using this website or authorising work with SAK Autobody & Repair Centre Ltd., operating as SAK Auto Group, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or authorise work.
2. Website content
Information on this website is provided for general guidance. Repair descriptions, timelines and indicative costs are illustrative and do not constitute a quotation. Nothing on this site creates a contract for repair work; only a written estimate that you have authorised does that.
3. Estimates
Estimates are free and are based on the damage visible and identified at the time of assessment. Additional damage frequently becomes apparent once panels are removed. Where that occurs we will document it and issue a supplement for your approval, or submit it to your insurer where they are authorising the work. Estimates are valid for thirty days unless stated otherwise, and are subject to parts availability and price changes outside our control.
4. Authorisation
No work begins and no parts are ordered until you, or your insurer acting with your authority, have authorised the estimate in writing. Authorising work confirms that you are the owner of the vehicle or are otherwise entitled to authorise repairs to it.
5. Payment
Payment is due on collection unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing. Where an insurer is settling directly, any deductible and any work outside your coverage remain payable by you on collection. We accept the payment methods advised at the time of invoicing. Accounts remain subject to our lien rights under applicable Alberta legislation until paid in full.
6. Storage
Vehicles left after notification that work is complete may be subject to storage charges at our posted daily rate. We will notify you before storage charges begin. Vehicles abandoned on our premises may be disposed of in accordance with applicable law.
7. Warranty
We warrant our workmanship and refinishing for as long as you own the vehicle. Parts carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer or supplier, which we will pass through to you. The warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from a subsequent collision, misuse, neglect, corrosion arising from areas outside the repair, or work carried out by others on the repaired area.
8. Parts
Repairs may use original equipment, aftermarket or recycled original equipment parts. We will tell you which are proposed and what your insurance policy covers before ordering. Where your preference differs from what your insurer will pay, the difference is payable by you and will be set out in writing beforehand.
9. Personal property
Please remove valuables and personal property before leaving a vehicle with us. We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any repair is limited to the cost of the repair work performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of use, loss of revenue or downtime costs.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@sakautogroup.com or raised with us at 9520 Endeavor Drive SE, Unit 9510, Calgary, AB T3S 0A1.
